Did 3β11 at a similar facility: 6β8 pm sundowning, two showers, meds late, then heavy lifts with fewer hands after 9. Iβd consider it if ratios are 1:8 or better, real 30βmin break, no mandatory OT, working lifts, and a shift/weekend diff. Pensionβs rare. Whatβs the weekend/holiday rotation?
Pay looks decent for Oak Park if that top end isnβt just for travelers, but Iβd want to know ratios on evenings and how often they mandate OT. 3β11 can be great for school/childcare, dealbreaker for me would be heavy lifts without enough help and no breaks. Do they offer any shift diff, tuition reimbursement, or a CNA-to-LPN path?
Iβd consider it if thereβs a decent shift diff and safe ratios; $18.50β$25 is fine but not if youβre solo on a heavy hall. Whatβs the usual CNA-to-resident load on evenings, and do they mandate OT or every-other-weekend?
