What's the most surprising thing you've learned

And i recently found out that CNAs are trained to recognize and report signs of abuse, which isn’t something I thought about before. It really made me appreciate how important our role is in patient care. What’s something that surprised you in your training or work?

I totally get where you’re coming from! Recognizing signs of abuse really is a huge part of our responsibility. I was surprised by how much emphasis we put on effective communication — it can really change the outcome for patients.

It’s surprising how much we need to be aware of, isn’t it? Recognizing abuse isn’t just a protocol; it’s part of building trust with our patients… I remember a situation where a small detail made a huge difference in someone’s care.
