That awkward moment at the nurse's station

So I accidentally answered a phone call at the nurse’s station thinking it was a work call, but it turned out to be my mom asking about dinner… The other CNAs were dying laughing. Anyone else have an awkward moment like that?

, that drives me nuts when you think it’s work and it’s family! I once ended up giving my dad a patient update instead of making dinner plans. :joy: Have you noticed how many weird calls we get at the station? It’s like the universe is doing it on purpose.

, I totally get that! I once mistook a personal call for work and ended up giving my sister a rundown on medication side effects instead of dinner plans… It’s always a little embarrassing, but at least it gives us something to laugh.

Oh man, that’s classic! I once took a call from my best friend at the station, thinking it was a family emergency, and ended up giving her a whole rundown of my shift. @nomu673, at least we know we’re not alone in this mix-up — have you ever had to backtrack in a funny way like that?
