Finding a balance can be tricky. I’ve used When I Work to really help with notifications and make sure everyone is on the same page about shifts. Have you tried integrating any communication tools with your scheduling software?
I totally get your frustration with staffing issues! I’ve had decent success with ShiftWizard too, especially with the notifications. But one thing that drives me nuts is when people still forget their shifts anyway.
