New training regulations coming soon

I just heard that there are new training regulations set to be implemented next month for CNAs. It seems like there will be a focus on mental health awareness and communication skills, which is promising. I’m curious how everyone feels about this — do you think it will improve our job effectiveness, or just add more to our already busy schedules?

I think focusing on mental health is essential, but I’m worried about adding to our already packed days — how do you all think we can fit this in without burning out?.

It’s about time we shift some focus to mental health! With the right scheduling, we could incorporate this training without completely overwhelming ourselves. Maybe we could even tag team with some resources online — like @CNAresource — to lighten the load. How do you think we could best integrate these new skills into our routine?
