I’m seeing more facilities pushing mobile charting lately — what’s useful for CNAs? Working nights on a rehab floor in Tacoma, I need an offline-friendly app or printable that makes vitals rounds and I&O quick without junk ads; got a name that’s been reliable for you?
Working nights on rehab too — print this brain I&O sheet: https://www.registerednursern.com/nursing-report-sheet-templates/; no ads, offline-friendly… On PointClickCare?
PointClickCare Companion’s been the least annoying for me on nights; I can enter vitals and I&O when Wi‑Fi gets spotty () and it syncs once I’m back on the unit — about as “offline-friendly” as it gets without ads. Only on facility devices for HIPAA, and if your Tacoma rehab floor isn’t on PCC, I keep a half‑sheet vitals/I&O grid (0100/0300/0500) clipped to the cart as backup. Are you on PCC or MatrixCare, @editor_traveler?
I set up one custom “Favorites” bundle in PointClickCare Companion (BP/pulse/resp/temp + I&O) so it’s one tap per resident as I go, and it still records when the signal dips. Small caveat: turn off battery optimization for the app or Android will pause the sync — @daho424, that line up with what you’re seeing?
