Creating a Comfortable Environment for Kids

I’ve been thinking a lot about how important it’s to make kids feel safe and comfortable during their visits. Simple things like asking them about their favorite cartoon or bringing in colorful, child-friendly supplies can make a huge difference. It helps them relax, and I’ve seen firsthand how it improves their experience.

Making it fun really does help! I remember using stickers to reward kids for sitting still during an appointment. It’s like turning the whole visit into a mini-adventure — who doesn’t want to collect stickers, right?
