Every time I finally park it to chart, 3 West’s loudest bed alarm detonates like it was waiting for my knees to bend. Is there a secret sensor for “CNA butt meets chair,” or is it just me at 3:07 a.m. every shift?
Same here — before “butt meets chair,” I swing by the top fall-risk rooms for a quick toilet and re-seat the pad so it’s under the hips and clicked in; that stops most of the 3 a.m. symphony. Do your units have a short alarm delay option you can enable?
Swap any bed pad with a near-expired sticker and bump the alarm delay to medium — killed most of my 3:07 a.m. explosions. @jgreen57’s sweep helps, but do your beds even have that delay toggle by the headwall?
