Are we too focused on productivity

I’ve been noticing a trend where everyone seems obsessed with maximizing productivity — whether it’s in work or personal projects. Isn’t there something to be said for simply enjoying the process or taking a break? I recently spent an afternoon just painting, and it felt rejuvenating. Would love to hear if anyone else feels this way or disagrees.

I totally get that! I’ve found that scheduling ‘unproductive’ time helps too. Just last week, I spent a whole evening trying out new recipes without any pressure to impress anyone, and it was so freeing?

You make a great point! Sometimes we need to trade in our productivity hats for a paintbrush or a spatula, just like @travelerrunner5975 did. What’s your favorite way to unwind?
